I love that you give us a hospital memory of Linc and Christina! This especially is a very astute detail:

In this moment, she feels a rush of pity for the tall boy who looked older than he actually was.

Poor Linc. It makes me ache for him. He really has gotten the raw end of the deal here, hasn't he?

Thanks for this, Candy!

Yeah, I feel like the tragedy of Lincoln and Michael's lives, especially with all these *new* revelations means they should get a happy ending, right?

They've never had a break--EVAH! They deserve a Scuba Shop in Mexico!

I loved that you gave us something for their childhood and Christina's time in the hospital !

I love your writing too !

Oh and this :
It was either kill or be killed. Michael looks over at Alex; he thinks of holding his mother’s head underwater until her body stopped thrashing. He’d missed the opportunity again and again to really save his brother. What he has to accomplish in the next five hours would be more than a 150 hours of sitting for a full body tattoo, more than letting Abruzzi take his toes, more than asking unthinkable favors from the only woman he’d ever loved.

He has to accomplish his final task with no time to plan and unbeatable odds.

For Lincoln, he can.
very very powerful and strong !

Oh, thank you! I do love these PB characters...and I sort of feel like this is one of my last fics for a long while, so I'm glad you liked it so much!

Poor Linc. The fact that she can actually see qualities or good traits in him just makes her indifference worse, and the analogy with the labrador is heartbreaking.

She had never been anyone’s mother, though
Christina definitely confuses giving birth and being a mother.

They’d never had a mother, only each other.
♥ How much do I love that Lincoln came to a similar conclusion to Michael's?

You did a wonderful job with the characters' voices and tying everything together. I think I hate you a little bit (in a good way) for making the better of a crappy storyline and turning it into something moving - now, it's harder to try to pretend it never existed ;)

I hate me a little for this too, because I didn't want to hear her voice, because I'd like to remember her the way she was before they rewrote history. *sad face*

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for leaving me your thoughts!

I was hoping that someone would write Christina fic, and I'm so glad it was you becaause I love Lincoln's perspective on this. That chick crazy as hell, but the implicatons of her existance on Lincoln really facinated me. This was very well done, and I loved the ending. I actually would have preferred this to how it went down on the show. :D

I didn't intend to write evil!Christina, it just sort of happened, so I'm glad you liked it. I wouldn't prefer Lincoln to be dead, myself, but it would have been more realistic, wouldn't it? He gasps around most of those two hours, losing blood, only to magically be okay enough to give T-Bag a stick of gum? WTF? Oh, show, I'm so glad you are over so you can't mess with me anymore.
