Wow. I'm surprised at my reaction to this, because the ending was so sweet and kind of unexpected (Lincoln's reaction, I mean. His appearance was the least surprising twist ever *g*). Reading Sara's interaction with Lincoln emphasized to me that Linc's been in Sara's life now for seven years, while Michael was only in it for less than a year. It tapped into that well of sadness for Michael that I honestly hadn't really felt up until now, in all the noise and hubbub surrounding the ending of Prison Break. The fact that Little Michael is so much like his dad, too, it's just, awww...so poignant ( ... )

I know Lincoln showing up in a fic of mine isn't too surprising, but I didn't plan that at first. The more I thought about it, though, the more we needed it--his blessing is the only way to show that Michael would be okay with it too, so I thought it was very appropriate.

I love that there was a level of familiarity for you as a reader seeing Linc and Sara together. Because they are family, and her concern was real, as well as her underestimation of Lincoln. I loved that more than anything, that he got it, and she didn't need to justify herself.

I also like Paul just trying so hard--with Mikey and with Sara, because he finally has something in his life worth the effort.

And it was very easy to write little Mikey, because he is so much like his father. I really, really liked that, and would actually have liked more of it, strangely enough!

I'm glad you liked it so much and that it was emotionally satisfying for you. Thank you for all your thoughts!

Awwweeee! That made me laugh and tear up at the same time! And it was very very well written :D I love how Linc already knew and how little Mikey couldn't help himself from telling him. Ohh, but it was cute. And the laughing at the end didn't feel one ounce fluffy, it felt like it belonged there, because we all know the need to laugh after such intense emotions. Well done, I say, well done :D

I'm glad this wasn't too heavy on the sap factor *g* I cried writing it, too. I've tried this element before, the Sara/Linc as siblings thing, but this was the most honest and real it ever felt.

I really enjoyed the whole fic, the handling of Michael's absence, Sara's views on Michael Jr., the way Sara and Paul's relationship evolves. I can imagine Sara finally having someone after several years, but this someone being Kellerman, despite the intial attraction... not so obvious, and you've done a great job making it believable.

I didn't comment on the previous parts but I still wanted to say that this...
Michael-big Michael-could be quite a snotty know-it-all
... made me grin madly. I like Michael but you couldn't be more right about this side of his character *g*

"Hey," he said, a puzzled frown wrinking his brow. "Is Uncle Linc your boyfriend now?"
Aww, Michael Jr. is a Lincoln/Sara shipper! *clears off*

Last but not least, I loved the conversation between Sara and Lincoln. I have a soft spot for them being friends or acting brotherly/sisterly so obviously, this was just perfect.

I've written other pieces where I did the brother/sister thing between them, but I never felt it as strongly as I did between them in this scene.

I think Mikey would have been fine with Uncle Linc/Mom too, so I threw that in there for fun. *g*

What a lovely epilogue, my dear!

Brilliant solution, congrats!^^

"Nothing can change how I feel about you, babe. You're my brother's wife, and my nephew's mother. You can't do anything to get rid of me, you got it?"
-WOW! Now I'm really impressed. This is miles away from the Linc I've had known, and believe me, my dear, I still held my breath for a moment as the truth slid out of Sara's lips...

Ah, I'm so glad about the happy ending and still though, Paul was not there in persona, thankx to your choice of words, it looks like he was...
So, thank you very much for this last installment of your PB centric stories, my dear, you made me happy and smile in contentness and it was a real, real pleasure to read.

I am really pleased with how it ended too. I like showing the characters development and growth. I think I could have gone on for quite a while with Sara and Paul, but it's better to leave us all wanting more, and allowing our imaginations to dream up what they are still doing. *g*

Yes, I imagined Michael, in all his 6 1/2 year old maturity, mentioning something about Paul this visit, because by now he's come a couple of times. So then Lincoln starts asking questions, and of course Mikey asked Paul his full name because he just would and then he would tell Linc and Linc would be like WTF? But then he would start to think of how he knows Sara and Sara would not let Kellerman at her son unless...

And so then Lincoln wants to know for sure, because he loves Sara and he wants her to be happy, and then she says everything she says, and he knows, and it's bittersweet because everyone knew this day had to come, but it's still sad because it's just another reminder that Michael is dead, and he's not coming back.

And Paul and Mikey playing X-box has got to be entertaining as hell. *g*

Thanks for all the reading, Leah. *hugs*
