Ooooooookay. Liz's unshakeable faith in Derek was shaken a little bit ago when he was all weird and angry about that thing with Jun, but she's pretty much totally forgotten about that at this point and gone back to where she essentially completely hero-worships Derek. He seems unflappable (HAHAHA) and zen and calm, all of which are qualities she really wishes she had.
Secretly in combat situations, she sometimes asks herself what Derek might do.
On the flipside, she does also occasionally wonder how much of that calm is real and how much of it is a necessary facade. She's pretty sure Derek would be absolutely goddamn terrifying when genuinely pissed.
Liz has a really hard time remembering that Claire is only 19 sometimes, she feels like they ought to be closer in age. She doesn't take into account that this is more likely an indication that her own emotional development is somewhat stunted, which meets in the middle with the fact that Claire's been through a lot which will age a person very, very quickly.
Liz is as close to Claire as she is to anyone who doesn't actually live in the S-T house at this point. She isn't used to having female friends, except Kate, who doesn't per se count, so having people to talk to like Becky and Claire and Hips is sort of disorienting. The desire to keep those female friends is probably part of why she doesn't always tell Claire when she's worried about her, which she is pretty much constantly. Mostly because she recognizes Claire's tendency to internalize things and try to do everything herself even when there are people who would gladly help her (i.e. Leon).
Liz thinks Donna is great for sexy sexy makeo--shit, that's just on dear_mun.
ANYWAY.
Most of the time Liz is utterly baffled by Donna, in that if Liz had Donna's life, she would kill everyone ever.
Or not, because Liz would never HAVE Donna's life in the first place because she can't imagine opening herself up to that many people.
Right now she's a little concerned that Donna will for whatever reason think less of her because of the conversation they had post de-frogging. There is NO LOGICAL REASON for this, it's just that she now really likes Donna after getting to know her a bit better, and is therefore convinced Donna will never speak with her again, because...she has problems. (Liz, not Donna.)
Liz is confused by Jean-Paul, although not at ALL in the same way she is confused by Donna.
It's possible she should be resentful of JP for Stealing Warren or whatever, but she suspects this is a good deal more to do with Warren than to JP himself, and the only person she's really good at blaming for circumstances she can't change is herself. However, as he's seeing her 'son', she has given a reasonable amount of thought to the little she knows about him--she recognises the sort of mental shielding he does.
Also at some point in the near future she may contact him to see what he knows about whatever it is John's going off to do.
she suspects this is a good deal more to do with Warren than to JP himself Jean-Paul would probably agree with this assessment, and also wonder out loud what the fuck ever happened to his, you know, GOING TO SCHOOL.
Liz doesn't know Becky very well, but Claire likes her a lot, and she was very supportive of Liz recently, so she's one of the many Nexusites Liz might like to spend more time with.

...It's a good thing he doesn't tend towards arrogance based on ego, lol.
Calm=90%
Facade=10% that's what slips when he finally loses it in the movie.
