When he reaches the door for Liz and Henry, he's worried to see that Henry's not there. Maybe they did put them in separate rooms? But he's so glad to see her there, at least. He walks in and sits in the chair next to her bed, planning on staying there for awhile. He's sure that there's plenty of nurses in and out, but until they bring Henry back or someone else comes in, he's going to be there. He doesn't want to risk her waking up alone.

What you do pay attention to, when you've already varied from your usual mission of seeking out evil-doers in your own world in order to help retrieve someone from a dimension of horror, is paying at least one visit during that person's convalescence, to see how they're doing. It's questionable whether anyone else will notice him there, but if they do... well, he supposes he'll have to make do, despite not really being any good at small talk.
