I also have the Thundercats on DVD. Norman doesn't understand my joy at this. (Dorkface likes old school Star Trek, I wasn't kidding about that Orion Slave Girl thing. It was -awful-, I look funny in green.)

Okay, that's not totally true. I look good in green, but not kelly green. And it wasn't awful, but I looked like the dorkface. This is a tragedy and you should be very upset on my behalf. Very.

I'm okay. Still underwieght, so still off the job. Rebuilding a T-bird Eiko gave me to mess with and working on one of Jun's bikes. Other than that, being almost unbearably lazy.

...I know a treatment for thalamal/hypothalamal damage from extended sleep deprivation. It'll take about two months to go through the whole thing, but it'll get you fixed up. If you want I can even come talk to your boss about it, let him analyze the medications so he can see I'm not going to turn you into some bachtrian monstrosity.

There's one side effect of it: you will get at eight hours of sleep a night while the regimen is ongoing.

well, ...what's his name, Captain Zombie? He might be pissed that once you put the patch on, you have fifteen minutes to lie down and be unwakeable for at least eight hours.

I've seen it. We could cut off your leg and you'd sleep right the hell through it.

Like I said, if you want, I can come, talk to them, let them analyze it and all before starting. Henry sort of obliquely indicated they're kinda squirrely about some stuff.

Squirrely is a good word for it, yes. I'll have to talk to Dr. Manning. Have to weigh two months of potential unavailability for emergencies v. possible being screwed up forever.
