[Ever since his small snow war between Kloe and himself, Sandrath was prowling the Keep as a cat. The main reason he remained in this form for now, was to be warm and perhaps snuggle up with a few residents that lived in the barracks.

The black cat could be found on any floor, while avoiding the snow at all cost.]

[Isabella is on the fourth floor, by the fireplace and sitting on pillow taken from her room to make it more comfortable. She has some needle work with her, a shirt that needs sewing.

She's engrossed in the work and humming to herself. Composing another song while the thread weaves through the fabric in pace with it.

Doesn't she just look cozy sitting there?]

[San pads down the corridor and remains silent. He pauses at the sight of Isabella before trotting over, it doesn't take him long before sitting beside her.

There's a small inquiring meow from him. His eyes transfixed on the shiny needle in the firelight.]

[There's a momentary freeze from her with the meow that she wasn't expecting but everything is washed away in a moment of rather girly glee seeing the cat sitting along side her.

That needle that you are staring at so intently gets harmlessly pinned into the seam of the fabric that she is working on and laid to the side away from the cat and not close enough to the fire to catch.

She cautiously extends some fingers for the cat to sniff.]

Hello there. Are you the mouser for our hall?

[The inky cat is getting her full attention.]

[He doesn't sniff her fingers, but instead brushes the side of his head against her. There's a small purr from his throat before he walks around in a circle before sitting down again.

To play dumb or aknowledge her question? A tough choice.]

[Kloe is hunting you, Sandrath.

Okay, not really, but it's cooler that way. She didn't actually expect to see him again. And now that there was no longer snow on the floor and she was in dry, warm clothes, she was in a considerably better mood.]

Found you.

[When he heard the words 'found you', San looked up from grooming himself. Of course he reconized the woman and moved out of his current position before trotting over with a meow.

Once he arrived, he placed his paws on her leg for a moment before slinking around her with a small purr. Yes, he was amused with seeing her so soon.]

[Kloe eyes him.]

What?

[He couldn't vocally express himself with words in this form, so instead he trailed around her some more. He was still purring before stopping and sitting back on his hind legs to rub himself over her leg.]

[Aara was walking alone in the hall, contemplating, when a rare sight interrupted her thoughts. She stopped. Stared. She had not seen many animals such as this one, and it took her a moment to recall the word humans used for such.]

Cat.

[She hadn't been aware she said it aloud, but now that she had she smiled, then crouched in place with her arms wrapping around her knees. She didn't want it to think her a predator, after all. She didn't think cats were considered food, anyway.]

You are called 'cat.'

[She was pleased she had remembered.]

Where did you come from, I wonder?

[When Aara spotted him in his feline form and said 'cat', he instantly sprang from what he was doing to greet her with a meow. It didn't take him long to reach her as he was sprinting. He was purring rather loudly as he brushed up against her, his tail tickling her fingers as he passed by.]

[With a light gasp, Aara remained perfectly still. What if she frightened it? It's friendly greeting and the soft, comforting sounds emitting from its chest made her relax and smile, however. With a smile, Aara tentatively unwraps one of the arms around her knees and slowly and gently reaches toward the cat, wondering if it would startle--or worse. Hiss and bite or take a swipe at her. She'd seen many underfed strays do as much.]

[He wasn't frightened. Why would he be? It was someone he knew, but sadly she didn't know it was a good friend in disguise.

He continued to walk around her, brushing his head against her before stopping infront of her. The black cat was still purring loudly as he let her touch him.]

[Seeing the black cat, Chloe pauses. Rolling her eyes, she grins wryly down at it.]

You know black cats are supposed to bring bad luck, right? Or are you a witch's familiar?

[She was teasing, of course. Mostly.]

[Now, this was someone unfamiliar.

Sandrath was a bit wary, but regardless paid attention at her words. He gave a small yowl at her before stretching.]

[Unable to help herself, Chloe tossed her head back and laughed.]

I can't tell if that was agreement, or not. Well said, either way.

[Hunkering down, Chloe reached a hand out so the cat might come closer.]

Here, kitty. I won't bite. I promise.

[He followed through with another meow before taking a few steps closer. His tail flickering behind him for a moment.

Once he was close enough, he sat down infront of her and stared.]

[Tsia was helping herself to a bit of bread and cheese from the kitchen in the barracks- eating it on the third floor's dinning hall.

It was the movement of inky darkness that caught her eye.

That this darkness was in feline shape caused her stop eating and sit up straight, watching it.

The gate was open but the signature that was coming from the cat? Well- she couldn't feel it in the gate. That was no cat. There was sentience there.

That was something else entirely.

Tsia watches it, food forgotten.]

[San was prowling about, not really paying too much attention to his surroundings as he continued to pad across the floor. That is until a sudden itch causes him to stop and scratch it.]
