So, I turned down my first marriage proposal at work today.  He even got down on one knee.  Completely caught me off guard.

I work with interesting people...almost makes up for my complete disinterest in my work.

Almost.

Thankfully, it didn't burst.

Is it odd that for my father's 52nd birthday we took him to the family fun center to play minigolf and a bunch of old arcade games?

'Twas fun.  And I discovered that my parents really aren't any good at TMNT.  But I did get to play an Extreme Luge game.  That was pretty awesome.

I just spent all my money on a plane ticket and now I need to figure out ground transportation and lodging.  Any kind offers of help?  I'll sleep anywhere that's enclosed (and preferably owned/occupied by someone I actually know).  I'm flying in Thursday night (May 10th) and should arrive around 10:45 pm.  And Sunday my flight leaves at 7 pm.  I ( Read more... )

For the second day in a row I'm getting paid to stay at home and do whatever I want. So I've spent most of my time cleaning the basement. Such an exciting life I lead.

Saturday night was the annual pancake and sausage supper at my grandma's old church and for the first time in five or so years, I was actually able to go. (Huzzah.)
