Rub orange peels on them? Cats are supposed to have an aversion to orange peels. You could also spray the cat w/ water when it chews on the cords, but that could get tricky or kill you, both of which are unpleasant.

eep! thanks! we'll try the orange peels. she's had this cat since november and the water bottle doesn't work.

Or get a can of change and shake it when she goes near the cords; it works for dogs, it may work for cats too.
