Been a while, I know i keep saying this but im sorry i havent written in this in a while it gets hectic over here and then theres downtime and then theres in between times the times where you have a moment to say goodbye to good friends that the damn Iraqis have taken from you forever. Whats a good amount of goodbye and whats too much or too little

Thanks for writing son, it has been awhile. Now it is 41 days. I just cannot wait. I wish I could be there to see you hold Riley for the first time. What a wonderful reassurance from GOD that even though he takes good people home, he gives us precious angels to show that he does love us. I know there are some people there who really do appreciate each and every soldier, and everything they do. It is just like here - only the hateful bad ones are in our face. The good ones are feeding children, and putting on bandages behind closed doors. But they are thankful that the children are alive to put bandages on.

Well it has been awhile again, now it is 21 days. We have not heard from you in while. The family reunion is on the ninth of sept and everyone will be asking about my brave son. We love you alot. We are also very proud. Please keep yourself as safe as you can. Love and Kisses - Mom

Now it has been over another month. It is really scarey not hearing from you. I have called Nicole - she says you are okay. Please know your family here still loves you. We still worry. We are hearing on the news that Congress wants you guys to stay longer. I hope that is not you. Phil goes to Ft Bragg Sept 24, and will be back Nov 23. From there we do not know. We love you.
