I was just looking to see when 'The Escapist' is released on DVD and surprised when I actually found it! It's out 13th October and Amazon has the artwork - Dominic's on it :D

Did anyone apart from missmovies and I actually see it at the cinema ( Read more... )

Woah, I can't believe it's released so soon. And Dominic is on the S&S commentary? Hmmmm, may have to pur-chase.

I haven't listened to it yet so I don't know if it's any good, but I think it's just the second episode :D

I caught a screening of The Escapist at the Latitude Festival...it was a great way to end my last night there. Plus there was a Q&A with the director, the producer and Jo Fiennes beforehand that was really interesting. :)

Thanks for the heads up about the S&S DVD!

Oh really? Cool! Latitude sounds like such a fun festival. They have all sorts of comedy and stuff as well don't they? If only Dominic had been at the Q&A too! But I guess Joespeh Fiennes is enough :D

I was just wondering how well it did at the cinema because we didn't see it on general release either and I don't know anyone who actually paid to see it at the cinema :/ Oh well!

Well funnily enough Dom was actually down in the programme as being part of the Q&A, but I assume he couldn't make it in the end. :-/

Yeah Latitude was awesome; I basically spent most of my time in the comedy and theatre tents and didn't see many bands at all! Lol.

Oh no, that's a shame :( He was probably crazy busy with Mamma Mia! promo.

They have theatre too?! I may have to go one year :D

Also, is Dominic a main character in The Escapist?

Well Brian Cox plays the main character, then I'd say it was more of an ensemble cast after that. He's an important character, definitely.

(There's also a fantastic scene where he's just in his underwear and you get a great shot of his bum - if that's any incentive to watch it...)
