The Seventh Doctor has some mental abilities beyond those of his other incarnations. The easiest way to describe the difference is that Ten could do a Vulcan mindmeld, and Seven could do a Jedi mind trick (he had to have something to make up for being a strange little weird man). He couldn't do telekenesis, but he could fully read thoughts,

5. No in the case of Omega, at least the hiding part. I mean he can go in, but Omega will know he's there immediately. And it's not like he's not already there already! Piper might suss too, it's not the first time it's happened.

1. Is it okay for him to read your feelings? Yes, absolutely.

2. Is it okay for him to read your intent? Intent here meaning "evil" (desire to lash out maliciously or acting only in the interest of personal gain and using any means necessary) or "good" (acting out of worry and affection for an individual or a group of individuals which may included misguided moral actions). I would say probably not. Jarod's ability to lie comes from the fact that he utterly convinces himself that he believes one thing or another, "becoming" the person he's lying about. So if he says "I mean you no harm" and wants you to believe he means this, then that is, for the moment, his intent. Does that make any sense?

3. Is it okay for him to detect that you have any psychic barriers? Yes.

4. Plot related circumstances: can he speak to you in your mind? Yes. Jarod is very open mentally and will probably be very easy to speak to. Is it all right with you if Jarod speaks back?

3. Yeah, that makes sense because Seven never reads surface thoughts to verify intent. I figured he considered it too much of an intrusion. He usually seems to sense it as if he's walked into a room with a bad odor anyway.

4. Judging on the fact that Benny could, I'll say yes.

5. This is just in the case if he's ever "killed" on the Barge or comes very near death in another RP and doesn't want to regenerate. Because if he was killed, he would bail out until his body was resurrected. Usually whoever he trusted most or would find most useful at that moment would do.
