Fun with Serial Cables
So, for a project at work today, I got to reverse engineer a proprietary serial link cable. Normally, this cable is used to interface a Unix box with a satellite Earth Station via a DIU port. Basically until now, we had to use a DB9 to DB25 modem cable, a 25 pin female-to-female gender-changer, and 2 custom-pinned DB25-to-RJ45 adapters (provided by ( Read more... ) -
