My cousin, Mary Jeanne O'Brien Virgile, died suddenly on Feb 19, 2024 at age 67. She would have been 68 on March 17.
Gone far too young.

Thank you for sharing that. Since Uncle Lee died none of the Savard/Bourdeau relatives have been in touch. Loraine exchanged Yule cards for a while but no actual family news. I've met some relatives through 23andMe, but no maternal side close relatives. Christine O'Brien Mellis is in regular touch. Some of the extended O'Brien family is active on Facebook. From her pictures online, Caitlin O'Brien (PJ and Marilla's daughter) looks very much like my daughter Avens.

Lee aka Thomas was my mother's youngest brother. He and Jerry and Whitey (Richard) were raised by Claire and her husband Ed Jurkiewicz after my grandmother, Clarisse Savard Bourdeau, died, along with their own children Gary and Sandy.

Interesting, thank you. Clarisse died when he was 16. He married at 23, then. I don't know if you remember Claire and Ed's house. 64 LaFountain Winooski. The older boys were upstairs, and Claire and Ed and Gary and Sandy were downstairs. But I remember the youngest Bourdeau boys are much younger, and unless that's based on family pictures my mother had, I don't know where the image comes from.
