Discovered that Ashlyn is still terrified of fireworks, even those set off by our neighbors.

We too stayed at home, watching the very patriotic American film Raise the Red Lantern. Though we did eat corn dogs, baked beans and watermelon earlier in the day, which is Fourth of July-ish activity.
