God-shots

In your movie teaser/trailer viewing pleasure, what are some of your favorite stereotypical shots? I like to call these "God-shots" because it usually makes the actors look like a god. My favorite is the slow push in to the actor's back as they turn their head and peer over their shoulder with a gleam in their eye like things are about to get nasty ( Read more... )

I always like the comdey/spoof trailer shot of the slow pan up from the feet, then the rush from torso to head to reveil someone you weren't suspecting.

Dance Sequence! Kidding.
There's also those quick pan outs revealing just how bad things are. You know? Like... our hero faces one thing, then the pan out reveals there is actually a room (or canyon) full of said things to create drama before the title graphic shows up. But in the case of Plight it would be something like... I can't believe we ate ALL THOSE TACOS! And the pan out would reveal just how many tacos our heroes faced. HAHAHAHAHAHs.dafmlnfaskd. Never mind.
