I took it like 10,000 years ago (back before the test was computerized! OMG!). Actually, I'm pretty sure the format is really different now, with a writing sample instead of the logic section (which really would have screwed me up at the time). I just tried looking on amazon for the study guide I used but I don't recognize any of them. Just make sure you get one with lots of practice tests. The part you need to start brushing up ASAP is math because this is stuff that you haven't done since high school
I never took the Kaplan course because it was so expensive, but my friend taught the course and gave me the books for it. If you can get your hands on those, they're the absolute best. As I was taking the test I realized how much of it was directly out of those study books... shoulda spent more time with them!
i second that motion. Because it's such a generic basic knowledge test, the guides are a really good way to give you the specifics you need. For the writing sample, just make sure your sentence structure is very precise, no matter how flamboyant your content. And math is always good to brush up on for us theater types. :)
