I feel like I'm taking craazy pills

So first full day in LA. I am staying here. It's pretty swank but the more I stay there the more I realize it's not THAT nice. My wifi connection in the hotel sucks so I've had to purchase a t-mobile hotspot account. Bleh. Which means I have to go to a place that has such service.

Weather is fantastic at 68 right now. Sun is shining, a nice breeze

That's so awesome that the film office called you! I think you should tell them that filmmaking is a passion for you but not a career. Even if that's not entirely true, if you think you can definitely give them the 2 year commitment, you should say whatever you can to get the job.

It was from the director of the office wondering if my film aspirations might get in the way of the potential job.

I've had to field that question on every single interview I've had over the past 10 years. Hopefully the Film Office guys won't use this as an excuse to puss out over not hiring you. "We wanted somebody who we knew wouldn't be leaving us to pursue their own projects."

And call me, dammit. It's embarrassing that you're 10 miles away from me right now and not contacting me. Have you gone Hollywood?
