I take issue with the assertion that Dragonheart had the first computer-generated main character in history. I do believe the live action version of Casper in 1995 beat it to the punch.

Good point, I'll let the original question writer know your issue! I would argue that the dinosaurs were a main character in Jurassic Park... that was '93. But c'est la vie.
