I think part of being an adult is: the ability to drop a little over $400 on a problem and not be filled with worries like with paying other bills on time.
Why? Because you saved up for just such an occassion.

i WISH i had that kind of money to drop on a "problem".

right now my problem is money period.

even though i've been working for almost 3 weeks now at my new job...they're only giving me like 4 days a week. at best. AND my first paycheck was only like 120 bucks. NOT good for the christmas season, on top of the ridiculous amount of money in bills and debt i owe.

ugh.
i wish i could be an "adult" in the monetary sense.

well there's that old saying: with great power comes great responsibility.
and in the case of your's truely, i've forsaken any sembalance of a social life in order to "be an adult". so in all honesty, it's a double edged sword. be young. have fun. drink coke.

don't get me wrong. having car trouble (my problem which needed money thrown at it) sucks no matter if you're above the bar or below it. i *wish* i had the option to hop on a train to get to where i needed to be these past couple of days.

oh, and did i mention that the car trouble was a xmas present from jesus himself? yeah, i got hit with his wrath on christmas day. atleast geewhiz loves me!
