Nice to 'see' you again!

Reading the Declaration of Independence aloud as part of the fourth of July festivities is a tradition I think I'm going to pick up next year.

Yesterday my Ex and I had a serious talk about The Situation Upstairs, and among other things we both agreed, not for the first time, that our getting married had been a serious lapse of judgment on both our parts. It was an amusing thing to be in accord on. (After having been divorced now for longer than we were married, we can be amused about things like that.)

My turn for a sidways bit of illumination. I don't think of my ex as a friend, but you and I have different exes. :) This comment of yours raised the whole issue for me. I've been thinking about it since you wrote and I'm getting some good insights of my own. Thanks.
