I didn't watch X-Files often, but I did hear that reference at least once. I always wondered about the backstory. (Assuming the writers had one.)

Starbucks Coffee is *not* named for that Starbuck, nor is it named for the Starbuck in Ogden Nash's play The Rainmaker. It is, in fact, named for an old mining camp in Washington state.
