There's a knitting stitch called Andalusian Stitch!  DUDE!

Now I have to know why... and to learn its history... and to incorporate it into everything I knit, somehow.  You KNEW I would find a way to make this all about Spain!

Oh gosh, knitting men are soooo hawt! Working on teaching my dh to knit even now:>. I think Violante Needs some toe up socks knit with an Andulusian stitch as part of the design now *grin*.
