Very nice. Pretty colours. You're getting a nice even thread too.

Who's this Peacock dude who makes spindles :D

Thanks! It's my first spinning project that's actually going to make it all the way to yarn - now that I know how to knit, I'm suddenly much more interested in spinning.

My mum bought a wheel years ago when she thought she wanted to raise sheep, and she should be handing it over to me tomorrow... *evil cackle* (no, I have no idea what kind of wheel it is, nor even what brand!)

It's so even! I am so jealous of your spinning skills. And of the fiber and spindle you get to work with! It's all so pretty.

Thanks! Here is my secret: park and draft! If I try to draft while the spindle is *actually* in motion, I get crazy lumps and slubs and everything. Yes, it's slower to put the spindle between my knees while I draft, but it's been the key for my spinning success. Maybe someday I'll move up...

Oh, and I have a new SP spindle now which is *perfectly* balanced, so my second single is coming out even better than the first!
