She could hear him meddling in her kitchen and she felt the despair well up in her once more. Her eyes opened slowly, not recognising the voice that she'd just heard. It was then that she realized that she was also standing, and not in her room. A dream? Was she...

Suddenly, she turned and saw a man. One she knew she'd never seen before. "Who are you?" She hadn't meant to sound accusatory, but her senses felt overloaded. Had Roland drugged her?

Her head tilted and her eyes narrowed softly in confusion for a moment as she took a step towards him, "You aren't no one. You are here for a reason, I imagine and I swear to you I'll tell no one," Her voice was soothing, one she had used with Duncan when he was but a boy, and Roland before him.
