He held on to her tight and buried his lips in the hair at the top of her head. "I'm glad you slept so well. I spoke with Sasha... she said for you to make yourself at home."

"I'll have to make sure to let her know I'm intending on lending a hand with things, if she doesn't mind. I'm not fond of the idea of just staying here without helping," Plus, it would give her something to focus on other than waiting for the ceiling to come crashing down around her. Of course, the man she was wrapped around helped with that as well. A great deal.
She pulled her head up slowly and looked at him, meeting his eyes and it was all she could do to keep the tears from building up, "Goddess, what did I ever do to deserve you. Especially after last night... I can't believe I was willing to.." She couldn't finish the sentence. Instead she slid a hand up his side and to his shoulder.
"You mean the world to me, Nathan. Please, don't even let me forget that again,"
