((ooc: Flashback RP, inspired by THIS post.))She'd risen early, content for a while to lay in the peace and quiet. He couldn't possibly watch her while he slept and in turn, she could watch HIM. She'd only recently noticed how peaceful he seemed when he slept and it was something she intended to cherish, no matter how silly or naive it made her ( Read more... )

Methos knew that she was going to be trouble for him, but he didn't want to worry about that at the moment. Kronos was gone, for the moment, and so Methos could put his defenses down ( ... )

Her eyes met his and she was almost startled by his question, though she tried not to show it. He had been much easier on her as of late, even showing concern when she was attacked by a couple of the other slaves and nearly drowned. Perhaps he was just angry that he might have had to bring her back to life once again, but she liked to think it was more than that. That perhaps he had begun to care.

"They refuse to speak to me, but that is all. I have no problem with that," She did, actually, but she would much rather endure the silence than have them torment her as they had been. She made her way into the tent, brushing past him a little closer than necessary to get by and held the flap open for him should he decide to follow her.

He took a moment to look toward the river at the other slaves, who made haste to look as busy as possible as soon as they felt his stare on them. He knew that they would not last long. Once any of his other brothers grew tired of them and of their work, they would be disposed of.

When she brushed past him, he let out breath that he wasn't even aware that he was holding. It was true that she was a healer, but she was more than that. She could, given her own time and wanting, be a great seducer. However, he wondered if she did that for him only or for herself too. It might make things more complicated between them if that was the case. He wasn't going to think about it, though.

Methos came in and took a seat.

She waited until he sat before she moved away from the tent flap and began to slice fruit for him. Their last raid had been rather fruitful as far as drink and food and she had managed to get a hold of some of it before the other slaves had even arrived. Being able to sense them returning had aided in that and she wondered if perhaps Methos had given her that gift as well, so that she could better serve him.

"How did you sleep?" she asked, as she gathered the sliced fruit into a bowl and made her way over to kneel beside him.
