I bet that handful of you who are on my friends list probably wondered why I made no comments after the election.  Simply put, I couldn't think of anything to say but how happy I am that Obama got elected

You said it all in the first three sentences. I wanted to have releasing cry when he won, but just a little whimper and sign came out.

The downer in me is scared still of somebody hurting him or his family.
