Art is feeling a bit more like a drag.

I don't know why, but I feel less motivated in doing most art. I think it is because I want to do something more productive then art, though scientific/technical illustration is something I am still interested in. I just feel that in retrospect that I should of had some none art back ups. Such as law, as suggested by my uncle during the summer, ( Read more... )

I've heard very good things about Sheridan College. ^^ Several members of my family went there years back. Hopefully you can find something to do in the meantime if you don't make it in this year. A year of drawing for a living couldn't be too bad, if it makes you an honest buck.

Sheridan is good for everything in the arts, but not animation any more. The animation professors that were the best ones, migrated to the school I am at right now. So they have fine arts teachers teaching that program. But I am more interested in doing the technical/ scientific illustration stuff anyways, so that does not mater to me.

Yeah, if I don't make it in anywhere I can take time off trying to earn some money. As one of my friend's in Smiths Falls told me. But ya maybe I can try and do some commission work as well, if the tables turn on me.
