Summary; Ice cream doesn't taste very good when you're alone.
Ice Cream.
All of his life, Jeremy has wanted to be in love.
He has never imagined how painful loving someone could be. He has watched dramas, felt the love of his parents, watched the world fall in love around him. They seemed all right; they seemed happy. Then why is he broken beyond recognition?
It while he’s eating ice cream that he decides to give up on love. Eating ice cream reminds him of Go Mi Nyu and everything that’s associated with her. He eats his ice cream, slow, as it slowly drips down his hands and all over the table. But he doesn’t care. There are things that are more worth caring about. Until:
“Jeremy Oppa, you should be more careful,” and before he knows it, a napkins is in front of his face. He takes it and wipes his hands, not even bothering to look up to see who had handed it to him. He begins eating his ice cream again, faster this time, not wanting to ruin his hands once again. There’s only so much dirtiness one person can stand.
When he’s done, he gets up and walks out the door and leaves the kind girl all alone, in a chair, watching his fleeting frame. It was so easy for him to leave her alone as if she doesn’t matter.
Go Mi Nyu sighs and gets up from her spot at the table and makes her way out of the ice cream shop. She doesn’t know if there’s anything else for her to do but watch.
