Miracle of miracles, here in Utah this movie is now playing in quite a lot of local theaters. I was hoping it would at least show up in one of the arty theaters, and it did, but then it moved into the standard array of mainstream theaters ( Read more... )

Sweet, I've been wanting to see it too.

Even though I haven't seen it, I'll probably want to buy the DVD too. I've liked his other stuff too.

It's worth seeing on a big screen, if you have the time and $$$. It won't lose much in translation to the small screen, especially if you get the widescreen version, but it's still fun to see in the theater.

Found ya via highlandwolf ( a new LJ friend of mine..) and I sooo agree! Pan's Labyrinth was the first movie in a great long time I WANTED to see..

and yes, even though I'm *supposed* to be a writer.. There aren't really words to describe this. It's a movie one has to truly go see. Just Go, friends of donkey_hokey. :D

Hello - it's definitely one of those things to be experienced. There's been summaries, and reviews, but they just don't seem to do full justice to the movie. There's not many movies like this (which is why it's so rare for me to want to go see one).
