So we're leaving for the Amazon on Friday. I was supposed to hear back about my application to the University of Alaska Anchorage's low-residency MFA program in Fiction sometime this week. So I shot off a quick email to ask if they'd be willing to email me their decision. Within two minutes I got a phone call
