I just love waking up to the alarm after a long, hard, detailed dream of being locked in a strip club with a boatload of porn stars...Stiff doesn't even begin to describe it.

So, it's now officially 2 weeks past the end of my severance pay from my past job, and nothing's moving just yet. Spent the better part of morning searching through pages looking for jobs that would employ my specific set of linguist skills, but nothing has yet come up. 1000 splendid suns
Not because I've actually read the book, or had any feelings towards the topic, but because in just the past 3 years, the temperature and tempermentality of NYC summers (and somehow, the Bronx is just that 1 degree hotter) has become more intense. 72 hrs in the life.
It's been a reeeeeaaallly long weekend. Not only that, it appears I may actually be trending slightly towards a legitimate writing gig...and wouldn't that be scary. And they want me for my brain, I'm not entirely sure how to react to that.
