When I must say something special to my students, I always send it by mail. I buy stationary at a special store and keep a lot of it on hand. I love getting cool stamps to go with the letter. Email is cool, but nothing beats a hand written letter.
Yes, I agree, which is strange that even though I feel that way, it has been forever since I have written an actual letter.
I was always on the lookout for post cards or some kind of graphic to stick in the envelope to make it more interesting. And you are right, the stamps can be great. You could even keep the letter if you liked it enough. I kept all the letters Myrna sent to me, and was surprised that she brought all of my letters with her when she came to the United States.

Nothing does beat a hand written letter.
