I adored the opening shots, that beautiful photography and v/o. If only all of Doctor Who could be so well done. The rest of it was okay for me, nothing special although the dialogue was snappy. It felt a bit like a lucky dip - hey, let's throw every monster and past character together ! Weeee !

I happened to see bits of the Confidential whilst channel hopping, luckily it was the bits with John :D

I missed the first 10 minutes AND the confidential. woe.

I watched the episode all the way through for the first time in AGES and now I am CROSS that I haven't watched more! I am just never in front of the tv at that time on a Sat!

to be brutally honest you haven't missed *that* much! The series has been good on the whole, but not brilliant.
