any movie with Mel Brooks, Kris Kristofferson, and Roberta Flack has to be a winner.

yes, it's absolutely on Netflix. Andrea, it's the most incredible thing I've seen in a while. rent it NOW!

it's also in pieces on youtube, though. and I think I'm going to blog my favorite selections from "Free to Be..." when I post about it on myspace later. (yes, everyone must know about this.) but, I have to say, even after having seen the fragmented youtube version, I much preferred getting the disc and watching it uninterrupted.

so tired right now though--just came back from interviewing Simeon and POMO 2007 and all that. it's been a long, crazy day. must rest and get food...I'll return to being a bizarro pop-culture fanatic later.....

This has to be my favorite so far...

I'm for sure sending off your box tomorrow so it should get to you sometime at the end of the week!

god, I loved that number. as soon as I saw it though, it provided major inspiration for a striptease routine. (is that weird?) in fact, I think it might be possible to do a burlesque version of almost all of the numbers featured in the special... maybe this summer I'll work something out. I can get going on my Sesame Street burlesque, too. I need girls, though. damn.
