Of course you know the Nissan Pathfinder was just lovingly referred to as the Pathfinder. But my first car was a 1973 Chevy Malibu. I bought it in 1991. I was the second owner and it had about 53,000 miles on it. It was a big solid car. It was so big we called it The Boat. It also had a big motor and could fly.
The current car does not have a name. I agree that it just doesn't have enough of a personality.
L and I have named long-term rental cars though. The one we had for 2 weeks in Britain had a plate that ended in VNE, so we called him Vi-NEH (or Vinny). It suited him.
