i love you so much, bun! im really excited about europe you have to suggest some books for me to read about europe after i finish auto repair for dummies so i can really appreciate everything we see
awww, donna. I know it is difficult when you don't have a lot of friends to spend time with.. I too go to the movies and eat out alone if need be.
I wish you were coming to SF with me!...that is, if I find a place. We still need to go see "The Devil Wears Prada" and go to the del mar fair.
I have no idea how anyone is supposed to meet new friends. It sucks! Maybe you should search myspace for some people in SD with common interests. I will even go with you to meet them, remember meeting matt at Mimi's cafe? That went well....sorta... ;)
I hope things look up for you soon. And you know you can call me anytime now, I am out of work and out of school!!!!
i hope things start to look up too. and ive got some ideas on how to change my situation. you and robert are going to have a great time in SF! i know the living situation will pan out soon enough. i'll see you soon. and thank you for the words of encouragement.
well if you read anything i had to say for the last month or two you know that im definitely having some doubts as far as teaching as a career go too. as much as im passionate about education part of me feels that its better to do it when youve already "lived" and i really dont feel like ive done that yet. hell, at least you lived away from your own home town to go to college, i didnt even get that. part of me feels like i'd like to live in another country for a few years before i settle into some district job i can get a pension with... maybe central mexico or even spain.
i have been reading your entries and it's comforting to know that im not alone in what im feeling. now i just have to go out and do those other things i want to do.. even if my parents arent that thrilled about it. the other day garron jokingly suggested us teaching english in south korea. im pretty sure id suck at teaching english, but it could be cool

yes, im definitely not as ready to settle down as i thought i would be. and i already feel better saying out loud that im not ready to be a teacher and it's got all these ideas running through my head about what i can do to better my situation. i do know that you are here for me and im really thankful for the friendships that i have been able to hold into. our recent night out with bethany meant a lot to me and i was so glad to be with you guys again. finn mccool's was especially awesome! im looking forward to seeing you again soon and thank you so much for making your support known. miss you =]
i know what you mean. i really enjoy the times i get to go on little vacations to see garron and hang out with some of his friends and experience what it's like to always be in close contact with great people. ive been missing that feeling a lot. when i lived in isla vista near the ucsb campus my best friends were always there.. down the hallway or maybe a bike ride around the corner. its all gone and im having a hard time moving on. but i am very thankful for the people who are here for me now and i always love hanging out with you travis. thank you for letting me know that you're there for me and i look forward to seeing you soon =]
