Ooooo, I was always the same way. Me on the scrambler...I didn't actually puke *on* the ride, but I leaned over the back as soon as it stopped. I avoid almost all rides at carnivals now. I'll stick with skee-ball, thanks.

whoa. for a sec, i thought you were going to post a puke story to match mine. quelle disappointment!

yeah, i think i like the concept of carnivals more than i actually enjoy them. the rides are always sticky, stinky and falling apart. when Mel & i went on the 'Ghetto'-tron last year it was a disappointment -and- made me queasy. the kids on it were having a blast & i stood there thinking omg how long IS this stupid ride!?
there's a time and a place for the spinny rides. perhaps our time for them is over. (well, your time for them was -never-. poor Emily Cheese!)

and carnival food ~ smells good, but if you stop to think about the possibly very unsanitary conditions in which it's made.. yeah. it's best to be a kid and not think too much.

Hah! That's exactly what Erik said! He likes the idea of Oktoberfest and the atmosphere, but he doesn't really like *being* there. And yes, I was never one for the wild rides - what can you do?

But yes ... Edo ... mmmmmmmmmmm. Sushi = goodness. See you then ;)

I'm still a skeptic... but neither can I ride the Tilt-O-Hurl. I can do the scrambler, and I still enjoy carnival games, though.

I rode the gravitron (now something else) and the fact my body was being sucked into itself didnt feel like it used to...esp. with no 80s rock videos in the middle :( You+me=sex this weekend!
