Wow ... so it's been quite some time since I've posted. Well, let's see - Henry is now 11 and a half weeks old and I gotta say that he's just the coolest baby ever. Thankee, love! Yeah, having the family here for Henry's first Christmas was pretty cool; even though he didn't really know what was going on, I'm sure he could feel the love ;)

Good to hear from you! Grandparents are all "we will want to babysit every DAY!" and then it doesn't happen that way. At least, it didn't for me, and I'm a little bitter about the gross misrepresentation of how things would be, but you know. That's real life. It wouldn't be any good if it wasn't challenging.

I think the distance is the hardest battle for babysitting - both grandparents have a two-hour trip to make and let's be honest, who wants to do that in the winter, right? Anywhoo, I guess I don't really mind too much - when I *do* get the chance to go out of the house, I just miss him the whole time anyway.

I seriously have hundreds upon hundreds of pictures of him. What I send the family is just the tip of the iceberg, not to mention what I post in the gallery. I'd say for every picture in the gallery, there are at least four or five more of certain poses/outfits/faces, etc. At the rate I'm going, Henry will never be able to make it through all his baby pictures ;)

Anyway, Henry says he misses his Auntie Kate (hence the frown-face icon used for this comment) and would like her to know that he would really enjoy pulling her hair.
