Well, I knew it was going to happen eventually, and it did. Henry had his first injury. Yesterday evening, my mom and I were playing with the wee one as he bounced around, cooing and smiling. Poor little misters! Glad he's doing okay now. Of course, no child goes through life without a few minor bumps and scrapes. (i.e. me - getting my chin sewn up at age 3..?) He's a tough little monkey, so don't feel sad nor guilty. These things happen! And it'll toughen him up for the big scary world..

Yeah, your little chin-incident was worse ... I think I would've fainted if that had happened to him (how did mom stay so calm?). But still, you know how frantic I get; I MUST learn to stay level-headed!

oooh honey! The papoose--it's a devilish contraption. My my, how our babes can have the strength of twenty men when in the ER. :( I hate the way that thing looks. It's like it REMEMBERS all the pain of every little tyke who has been held by it. It totally creeps me out. Poor kid, and poor mama! Of course I bet he has forgotten all about it and is happy as a clam, it's you who is traumatized ;)

Danger is lurking EVERYWHERE. You'll be a wreck for a while probably, looking at everything as another trip to the ER. But, it goes away. Until then you can get him a helmet. JUST KIDDING!

So you've seen the papoose as well, eh? Those things SUCK!!! But yeah, I think I was more traumatized than Henry - he's such a tough little kid. I just hope to avoid further accidents (impossible, right?) so maybe I will get a helmet and a leash ... hehe, just kidding.

Aw...I'm glad he's okay! Sheila and I hung out the other day and both agreed we are making a trip to Madison together!

Thanks, hon. And I know I shouldn't feel guilty but it's kind of hard to turn that feeling off, you know? Henry's cut is almost healed now so I feel better about it. But yeah, sometimes being a mommy *is* hard.
