Oh no ...

Jun 18, 2007 13:53

Henry has learned to scream. Oh yes, he can scream like a pro now. This is not the "I'm-a-six-week-old-infant-crying-for-food" scream. It is a wildy-happy, can't-contain-myself, shout-it-from-the-mountain-tops ear-splitting scream. The house is a mere arena for showing off his new skill.

Oh dear God - help me.

"If you're happy and you know it SCREAM REAL LOUD!!!!!!!" (to the tune: If you're happy and you know it clap your hands)

Just be sure to put a note on your door so that your neighbors know it's an "I'm happy Scream," as they may think something different! :)

Man, I am sooooo waiting for Child Services to show up. Here we are again, 7:15 in the morning, and he's screaming at the top of his lungs.

But DAMN, this kid is so cute!

I imagine you have heard him - these apartment walls are a bit thin. I'm just waiting for the dirty looks to begin from the other neighbors - maybe I should post a sign ...

It's cute the first time you hear it, isn't it? But let me tell you ... after awhile it becomes less cute - heh. But the kid is so happy that you can't really be upset.

Do you scream back at him? I bet he would enjoy that. ^_^

I bet he probably would enjoy that, actually. He *does* like to be scared. I'm tempted to have the screeching monkey yell back at him but that would just be cruel, right?

I think that’s only fair! Even better, get one of <these> for him. I’m trying to feel bad about that idea - I reckon I’d be a horrible dad. The kind who shoots screaming monkeys at his kids.

Prrrobably. Maybe. But kids have to learn how to stand up to their fears by being exposed to them on a daily basis. ;)
I just found an old baby book about me that mom kept - apparently I was afraid of the "Putt Putt Railroad" when I was a toddler. OMG miniature train will eat me NOoOooOooo!!
