I *did* play that "need water for baby formula" card; it didn't seem to matter. I guess that means they hate babies and people that hate babies suck.
Anywhoo, it is now 3pm and the water came on about 10 minutes ago. FINALLY. I sooo should've thought to just call you, though. For one, we had no water; two, we were a bit bored and three, we miss you. Ah well, now it's too late since Henry is napping and dinner is just around the corner. But still, we must see ya'll again!
I'm so there with you...tricstmrJuly 3 2007, 20:15:46 UTC
when our water has gone out--due to the flushing stuff all over the city--it has royally sucked eggs.
I mean.. I think I could deal without electricity a lot longer than I could deal without water. I could read books.. go outside.. etc... but without water.. you not only have the toilet problem...but I immediately seem to get thirsty...

Oh, I so agree. No electricity would be waaaaaaaaaay better. See, I can be a bit obsessive-compulsive (okay, okay ... I am REALLY obsessive-compulsive) about washing my hands. Pouring the Brita water in the fridge over my hands just doesn't seem to do it ;P
