What a week. Originally, Erik and I were suppose to be in Door County right now. It would have been the first time we left Henry for an over-night with Grandma. I guess the fates decided it wasn't time yet. Henry got *really* sick on Wednesday. His temperature rose to an impressive 102.3 degrees and I, of course, freaked out. The nurses I ( Read more... )

we have a heavy-footed upstairs neighbour. It took some time to get used to, but now its hardly noticeable. Hes a fantastic neighbour in every other way, though so we learned to overlook it. Maybe try stopping on on this new neighbour of yours, getting to know them and such before you say "hey shut up". It would probably go down easer coming from you after they have gotten to know you a bit, and I'd bet they'd be more likely to make more of an effort to be considerate.

I think I actually *am* starting to get used to it now. But it still sucks ;P And yeah, I *would* go and try to get to know him, but I'm kinda awkward in situations like that. Plus, if I knew him I'd be *less* inclined to say something because then I'd feel all self-conscious like, "Oh no, now he won't like me" blah blah blah. But still, good advice :)

Man, if it was Dave Foley, I'd totally be down with the noise. The only thing I'd ask in return for sleepless nights is that he come and entertain Henry and me for an hour each day ;)
