Yarn clogging my closet

My aunt's husband's mother passed away a little while ago and as (apparently) the sole knitter in the entire Lucido lineage, I got all her yarn. Now, the old lady was an old lady, so there is a lot of dubious Red Heart no-dye-lot acrylic, but there is also a whole lot of thin white cotton called "Knit-Cro-Sheen" Boilfast Mercerized Cotton. Indeedy I am - and classes start Tuesday. I'll get the yarnlike objects off to you - any idea what to do with it?

I'm not sure quite yet. I've used kitchen cotten for dishclothes, but I'm not sure if mercerized cotton is different in feel or how it drapes. does it say the weight or how many stitches/inch? depending on the weight it may become baby things, or I may have to come up with something else. when you've sent it, let me know shipping and I'll send you a check :)

I'm glad to hear you're back. we'll let you know when we're in the cities next. Sept 22-24 is a cider pressing around here that's always fun. if it's something you might be interested in I'll try to hook you up with some other friends coming from the cities.
