i can go ahead and call the ACLU on behalf of that girl, because in my opinion that's grounds for an wrongful termination suit. is that really the way to make the community a better place for Cove's disaffected youth?
oh yes, i'm angry. but shouldn't everyone be? this is what hypocrisy looks like.
if i built a homosexual libertarian Muslim theatre across the street, and fired everyone who wasn't a homosexual libertarian Muslim, those assholes would burn me at the stake. it's not fair, and just because Copperas Cove is a right-wing religious small town doesn't mean bigots and discriminators like Brandon "Real Estate Mogul" Sanders can get away with it.
i know she'll probably move on and get another job, but i bet she won't forget about that experience and the discrimination she faced.
Stuff like this is why I want to go to law school.
Thanks, dude. Honestly, it is a horrible thing to be in a situation like that, but I just don't think that they understand what's happening to them. I'm glad that we're banding together as a business, but this is not how you treat people, in any case. In some good news, I was told that if that girl gets fired, then another person or two will quit and leave along with her.
I might not be far behind.
*sigh* It's Family Christian all over again, Robert. ---------- Oh yes, one more thing said at the meeting yesterday:
"We aren't going to hire any more high school kids."
Well, everyone can just wave goodbye to the theatre, since it will be under new management shortly due to nobody working there.
