you'll probably beat me anyways--i'll be surprised if i end up going to any of those concerts (the the top 3 for me would be ben folds, sleater-kinney, and the decemberists). i LOVE sigur ros, but i think a concert would be kind of boring. thoughts?

Sigur Ros supposedly put on brilliant concerts, that is, so emotionally charged that half of the audience breaks down crying in either grief or joy. Whether or not that appeals to you, well, that's another story.

I'm not much of a concert goer, but...

1.) the Faint are playing on the 7th at the Rave... but that's the day before I leave so despite how much I want to go and how much my friend wants me to go I don't think that's possible.

But at least i've seen the Faint live once. mmmm...

2.) I worked out a deal with a guy I know in Savannah so that in October we'll try to go see Nine Inch Nails live in a nearby place in Florida.
Fuck yeah.
He's drivin' and i'm paying for both our tickets.
Mmm... supposing we can even get tickets to that, that will be so tremendously awesome in epic proportions.

the other three of their albums are just as good, depending on what you're looking for: 'white light/ white heat' (noisy), 'the velvet underground' (mellow), or 'loaded' (poppy). glad you're liking them, though!
