You know my feelings on the final fantasy games well and clear. I'm impressed that they were able to wedge FMVs into a DS cartridge but then again being impressed by squares technical abilities really isn't anything new.
As for Dirge of Cerberus I know even if I say 'dude, seriously, rental' it won't change the fact that you're going to run out on release day and blow 40 pounds on it. Just... It's an action game with Vincent Valentine as the main character. It's on the PS2 and allows for you to use the keyboard and mouse as a way of aiming. This is awesome.
The fact that it's 10 hours long, has an utterly impenitrable story line unless you've played FF7 about five times and the boss fights are apparently disturbingly easy (remember the lava spider in DMC2? yeah...) and they're apparently even easier once you plug a keyboard and mouse into the PS2.
So, once again, I say... either rental or wait a little bit. :S
^_^ It was the FMV on the screen which I was mainly impressed with, but I knew the DS could handel it I just wanted to see if it would actually be done. also the ability to play the whole game with just the pen is interesting...
as for FF7:DoC it's not something i'm looking forward to I want FFXII way more, it's just I found out that it was ment to be out last week so I asked in game about it ... I hate Game Staff ... I asked them about a Final Fantasy Game ... so they got the book and started to point at Final Fantasy XI telling ME that FFVII? ...(sigh)
You know Jon, I could buy the game for you here. I mean...i'm here in the US until Saturday 21st and the game has already come out here. It's even ready for rental in Blockbuster D:
I read on a site KH2's release date was on the 29th of September. But all the websites could be wrong...ah well I'm content in finally getting a brand new copy of KH1 from my friend. Aww she's so sweet to buy me it.X3
