I swear you live in TV show land. If some bitch-ass drill sergeant secretary started treating me like that, I'd have been all over her; screw passive victories. These people work on your time, not vice-versa. If something goes wrong with the appointment, then it's simply rescheduled. College isn't the fucking military.

It's always nice to have someone apologize for their rudeness which, while you were late is what she was. However, one thing you can always say, especially in the case of your school is, "Tell it to the faculty, I don't think some of them got the memo." That's of course if you ever want to go that route
