Yeah. I managed to stave off for tonight by writing on myself instead (not... exactly flattering things, but what the hell, still a step up), which is the most effective thing I've found so far. Still, not so much easy.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Heard of it? Tried it? Its specifically designed for tackling that sly and deprecating brain of yours.
I mean, Jesus I've got one of those little bastard voices in back of my mind too. I think its a common if not universal feature that unities us on here. Changing everything just ever so subtly, making the world a slighter dimer shade. I truly understand what a staggering success it is to have "won" about deserving anything. About deserving friends. I mean, STAGGERING undertaking. You must have a jedi brain. I salute you for that victory.
You need to get the jedi tricks going again. Fight that bastard voice. Make it difficult to take this from you. You won before, do it again. I'm cheering for you.
