I'm sorry, but i would have to agree with your dad on the driving thing...i know you want to come early for work and all, but if you haven't ever driven the entire way before, it isn't a good idea to start doing it by yourself!!! Drive him...or whoever you are coming down with the whole way, and establish credibility...then, when the time comes, you can say, "Look...so-in-so was in the car with me and it was fine...i can do it on my own!" remember, you still have two years of that drive left...me on the other hand...i graduate in may!!!!! :D
